Bambusa chungii

Bambusa chungii is very fast growing bamboo with an open growth habit. This spectacular bamboo has white new culms with a bluish hue making this a popular ornamental bamboo and a very desirable landscaping plant.  Chungii makes a stunning centrepiece feature in any garden and can also be mass planted to create an incredible blue bamboo grove. This bamboo prefers a sunny or partly shaded position.
