Bambusa textilis var 'Glabra'

This bamboo is almost identical to Bambusa textilis except more open clumping and new canes tend to retain a white powdery appearance making it look like white tiger stripes. A fantastic specimen bamboo in any garden and more popular than Bambusa textilis.This bamboo is very cold tolerant. Other uses include screening, hedging or as a windbreak. Prefers a sunny or partly shaded position.
